Home / GLP-1 gut support

On a GLP-1 and stuck? Your gut is where it starts.

Constipation, and weight that stopped moving. Those are the two things Llolyn hears most from people on semaglutide and tirzepatide, and they are connected.

GLP-1 medications slow the gut down on purpose. That is part of how they work. It is also why so many people on them end up constipated, bloated, and eating so little that real nutrition falls apart, and then wonder why the scale stalled. Your prescriber manages the medication. Llolyn works on the part they usually do not have time for: how your digestion is actually doing while you are on it.

What Llolyn sees, every week

  • Constipation that started with the first dose and never left.
  • Weight that dropped for a while and then stopped, no matter what.
  • An appetite so small that protein, fiber and minerals are all missing.
  • Bloating, sluggishness, and a body that feels like it is holding on to everything.

What a visit looks like

  • A conversation about what changed since you started, what you can and cannot eat, and how elimination is going.
  • An abdominal exam and digestive screening.
  • Nutrition that fits a small appetite: protein, fiber, minerals and water, so you are not losing muscle along with the weight.
  • Whole food and herbal support from the products Llolyn keeps in the office, including GLP-1 Bitter Complex, formulated to support healthy satiety and appetite regulation, digestive function and gastrointestinal tone, and healthy eating patterns alongside diet and lifestyle changes.
  • Colon hydrotherapy when constipation has become the problem, if the screening says it is appropriate for you.

The GLP-1 gut program

Llolyn is putting together a short program for people on these medications: a series of sessions paired with the nutrition and the support to keep digestion moving and the weight loss going. Ask about it at your first visit.

What Llolyn does not do

She does not prescribe, adjust or stop your medication, and she does not sell or recommend peptides. She is an I-ACT certified colon hydrotherapist, not a prescriber. If something you describe belongs with your prescriber, she will say so.

Questions

Do I need to stop my medication?

No, and Llolyn will never tell you to. This is gut and nutrition support alongside what your prescriber has you on. Tell your prescriber what you are doing.

Will a colonic interfere with a GLP-1?

Colon hydrotherapy works on the large intestine and does not change how the medication works. The screening at your first visit is where Llolyn checks that it is appropriate for you.

I am on it and the weight still is not moving. Why?

That is one of the two things Llolyn hears most, with constipation. When elimination slows and the diet shrinks to almost nothing, the body often holds on. Getting digestion moving and getting real nutrition in is usually where the change starts.

What if I am only thinking about starting one?

That is a good time to come in. Getting digestion in order first makes the first weeks easier.

What about peptides?

Llolyn does not sell, prescribe or recommend peptides, and she will tell you honestly what she thinks of them if you ask. This page is about the gut, not the injection.

Stalled on it? That's fixable.

Come talk to Llolyn. Constipation and a stuck scale are the two things she works on most.
